The Bartram Floor Lamp is cleverly geometric with its mix of round and square elements. Ian Thornton said his aim was to create an interesting shade with a conical shape that traveled down into a cylinder, both to be embraced by a ball that led to a thin stem and culminated with a stacked round base tot echo the scale of the upper cylindrical shade. He scaled this black floor lamp to be generously sized. The contrast is dynamic in this composition, the rich black elements raising the off-white shantung shades like a prized torch.
Due to the use of natural materials, handmade craftsmanship, or hand finishing, expect some color variances. Hand crafted pieces may have slight size differences.
Lamps may require minimal assembly such as attaching harp to base and applying shade with finial.
